We’ve designed the KiddyKeys® program to develop not only a child’s music appreciation skills but also his/her life skills. We summarize our classroom philosophy this way:

• Be respectful to all children. Through our actions, we convey our belief that each child is special. We take the time to make one-on-one contact with each child during the class and speak to your child using his/her first name.

• Follow their lead! Since children are highly resourceful, each child sees things in his/her own way. As we introduce a new concept, we ask the children what they think.

• Offer positive reinforcement. Music is a unique experience, so we encourage self-expression. We strive to find the balance between directing your child in the class and allowing your child to experience the class.

• Have fun! Because learning and music go hand-in-hand, you never know when that “teachable moment” will occur, so we enjoy every moment.
